FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: September 22, 2008 New Poll Shows Cazayoux Leading by 16 Points in Louisiana's 6th District Baton Rouge – Congressman Don Cazayoux today released a poll conducted by Anzalone Liszt Research showing him leading by 16 points in an initial head-to-head between all three candidates in the race. Cazayoux received 48% of the vote, while Bill Cassidy only garnered 32% and Michael Jackson received 9%. “We're pleased to see that the voters of Louisiana's 6 th District understand that Don Cazayoux represents their values and is working in Congress to find commonsense, bi-partisan solutions to our energy crisis, the troubled economy, and the obstacles we face as we recover from Hurricane Gustav,” said Katie Nee, Cazayoux Campaign Manager . “Louisianans see that Don Cazayoux is an independent voice in Congress who fights for them, which is why the more they get to know Don, the stronger their support has become.” The poll of 500 likely general election voters was conducted from September 17-21, 2008.
